Day 1: SA Jan 29 - ARRIVE in Phuket, Thailand
A remote island ideal for nature-loving travellers who seek a less populated haven well away from packed, peak-season beaches. There are plenty of hiking trails, deserted white sand beaches and jungle waterfalls. This jungle island is part of the KoTarutao Marine National Park. Its total land area comprises of 30 square kilometers of jungle with trails leading to several waterfalls. (Two waterfalls on Adang are popular hiking destinations , ‘Ratana’ waterfall is best reached by longtail boat. Toward the end of the dry season (February to April) Ratana slows to a trickle. The ‘Pirate’s Fall’, easily reached by a 2km walkway is worth visiting anytime of the year.) At the southwest tip of the island is a large cliff named Chado Cliff offering fantastic views of the surrounding islands. Green Turtles lay their eggs on the main beach between September and December.

Day 3: MO Jan 31 - PENANG, MALAYSIA
Take one tropical island, add a luxurious beach resort, augment that with a significant amount of history, toss in a liberal dose of superb local food, and the result would be none other than Penang. Penang, the "Pearl of the Orient", is today’s most culturally diverse East Asian holiday destination. Lying at the crossroads of great civilizations, Penang, more than any other state in Malaysia, is the country’s cultural melting pot. Penang Island (293 sq. kms) is located in the Straits of Malacca, was originally part of the Malay Sultanate of Kedah. It was given to the British East India Company in 1786 by the Sultan of Kedah. George Town, (named after King George III) the historic capital of Penang was formally inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site along with Malacca on July 07, 2008. It is officially recognized as having a unique architectural and cultural townscape without parallel anywhere in East and Southern Asia . George Town was ranked in 2007 as the 10th most livable city in Asia according to an international survey involving 254 cities worldwide by “Conditions Abroad Limited”.

Day 4: TU Feb 1- BUTANG GROUP, THAILAND
The Butang Group consist of 61 islands that comprise the archipelago in the Straits of Malacca are characterized by dramatic rock formations and beautiful beaches. (The setting for ‘Survivor Thailand - Season Five '). About 51 of the large and small islands have been established as “Tarutao National Park” since 1974. Later, UNESCO proclaimed the Tarutao National Park as the “Heritage of ASEAN” – a place to be protected and conserved for people all over the world to appreciate.“Tarutao” is the largest island in the group with an area of 151 square kilometers. Most of the area is rocky mountains with the highest slop of 708 metres.
Day 5: WE Feb 2 - KO KHAI NOK, THAILAND
Koh Khai Nok is a great daytime anchorage. Its brilliant white sandy beaches are lapped by a crystal clear sea, perfect for watersports and teaming with marine life. A wide variety of fish and coral makes this island a favorite for scuba divers and snorkelers during slack water and neap tides. Situated off the coast of Phuket, the island of Khai Nok or Ko Khai Nok (Ko means island in Thai) is an idyllic tropical paradise. It offers spectacular views of Phuket's coastline which can be seen on the horizon. There is a small restaurant on the beach for daytime visitors. Deck chairs and umbrellas can be rented on the beach for a small fee.

Day 6: TH Feb 3 - PHANG NGA / KO DAM HOK, THAILAND
Protected from the ravages of the Andaman Sea by Phuket, Phang Nga has a seascape at once strange and beautiful. Covering some 400 square kilometres of coast between Phuket and Krabi, the mangrove-lined bay is littered with limestone karst formations of up to 300 meters in height, which cradle jungle vegetation in their craggy profiles. The sheer-sided sea mountains that rise vertically out of Phang Nga Bay form some of Thailand's most spectacular scenery. The 120 mountainous islands (one of the islands is called James Bond Island from the movie “Man with the Golden Gun”) in this region feature wonderful white sandy beaches and superb coral reefs. Ko Hong ('hong' meaning 'room'), part of the Ko Hong archipelago is so named because of its large internal lagoon. One of the prettiest bays in the area, huge monolithic rocks provide shade all day long on a beautiful white silica sand beach.

Day 8: SA Feb 5 - HOMEWARD BOUND or continue with our
