Sept. 16 - leave Canada - direct, overnight flight with Air Transat

Sept. 17 - arrival in Athens - coach transfer to the port of Piraeus -one -hour ferry to the island of Aegina - transfer to our small, family-run hotel, with pool, small, in-room fridge (4 nights)

Sept. 17 - 20 - explore AEGINA - the lively harbour, the classical Temple of Aphaia, the famous monastery, the beach town of Ayia Marina, the fishing village of Perdika and the quaint, nearby island of ANGISTRI (Greece as it was years ago)

Sept. 21 - ferry to the island of POROS - transfer to our small, family-run hotel, with pool and fully-equipped kitchenettes (4 nights)

Sept. 21 - 24 - explore POROS - the delightful hilltop town, sandy beaches and lively harbour. Group excursions will include a mini-cruise around the island and a coach excursion to the Peloponnese. You will be able to visit the enchanting islands of HYDRA (no cars allowed) and SPETSES, on day-trips from our base in POROS

Sept. 25 - coach transfer from Poros to NAFPLIO - en route, we will visit the ancient theatre of EPIDAUROS. Arrival at our comfortable, business-style hotel in the seaside town of Nafplio (2 nights) Sept. 25 - 26 - explore Nafplio, one of the prettiest cities in Greece - the old town, with its Venetian architecture, the famous hilltop Palamidi Fortress and the enchanting harbour area - 20 minutes away is the lovely beach town of Tolo. We will enjoy a group wine-tasting in Nafplio

Sept. 27 - coach transfer from Nafplio to Athens- en route, we will visit the famous ruins of ancient MYCENAE - next, we will stop at the amazing CORINTH CANAL - on arrival in Athens , a professional guide will give us an orientation tour of the major sites of Athens. Sept. 27 - Sept. 30 - explore ATHENS - so many ancient sites ! - the Acropolis, the Agora, the many museums and galleries and the pedestrian shopping area of the Plaka - you will have two, one day step-on-step-off sightseeing bus tickets to explore Athens at your leisure - we will have our final group farewell dinner in Athens
