Our passengers are women from across Canada - once in a while we have passengers from other countries join us as well which is great ! The concept is that our programs are built with Canadian Women in mind and for Canadian Women.
Our passengers are an even mix - Single, married, widowed and divorced. They range in age from mid 30s to mid 70s with the core group between 45 to 65 years.
 Hello Ladies,
We have just completed our 2010 Spring European lineup. Along with our annual favorites in Italy and France, I have just returned from our new program in the English Lakes District. What a delight of a tour, this is truly the 'Old England' we picture in our minds.
Picture this - charming villages of stone and slate houses and pubs, rolling hills sporting the cross-stitch of stone walls, with fields of sheep with lambs everywhere. The lambs were the cutest ! Some are white, many are black and they really do skip. The weather was glorious and spring flowers were in bloom everywhere. I have over 50 photos of fields and woodlands carpeted with bluebells and a plethora of other wild flowers. One of our favourite days was dedicated to Beatrix Potter. We first visited her precious Hill Top Farm then proceeded to Yew Tree farm (the setting for the movie 'Miss Potter' staring Rene Zellweger) then onto the charming village of Hawkeshead where her original oil paintings of Peter Rabbit, Miss TiggyWink, Jamima Puddleduck et al. Every day was a new adventure - we even had some painters along. This is a real keeper and we'll be going back next year.
I am very excited about this fall's trip to Africa "Icons of Namibia and Botswana plus Victoria Falls" As it turns out there are five of us gals booked on this one and as it has a maximum of 10 participants we have decided to make it an all girls adventure. This tour is currently on our sister site - Travel Broker Tours, but we will be moving it over to the Canadian Woman Traveller site shortly. So ladies with 5 spots left, it promises to be a memorable girls adventure.
Rose is still in Europe at the moment but did ask me to remind everyone about her 'Walking and Cooking in Tuscany' tour. It is booking nicely and there are 9 places left on this one. Along with beautiful country walks this tour features small inns that we have used for years in some of Southern Tuscany's most lovely hilltowns and a full day with Lorenza in her great farm kitchen to make a 3 course lunch including homemade pasta.
We are going to bring back our Ladies Christmas getaway to Vienna with a few days at a lovely spa first. This tour is full of wonderful experiences, Along with the spa we stay in the centre of Vienna, take in the Vienna Boys Choir, enjoy the Christmas markets, take a daytour to Salzburg and have Christmas dinner at Schonbrunn Palace.
Please keep in mind that the Christmas tour must be booked by September 30.
We frequently receive feedback and great suggestions that we really appreciate. You ladies have come up with some great ideas for future tours that you will see come on line soon.
